THE OHIO SUICIDE PREVENTION FOUNDATION (OSPF) invites you to this 1-day role-play workshop designed to train mental and behavioral health providers in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS)!
The Collaborative Assessment & Management of Suicidality (CAMS) Training is an evidence-based treatment framework used to assess suicidality and specifically treat suicide risk. CAMS 3-part training provides mental & behavioral health providers with essential knowledge in using the CAMS framework to collaborate with patients in the treatment of their suicidal drivers. To become CAMS-Trained, the CAMS 3-part training includes:
- A three-hour, self-paced online course: This course features a series of videos which provide an overview of the CAMS model. Completion of the online course is required prior to attending the in-person, role-play workshop.
- An in-person, one-day workshop: An experienced CAMS Consultant will train participants in using the CAMS framework through role-play where participants take turns acting as both counselors and patients.
- Group Consultation Calls: Following the workshop, group phone calls will be held for 8 weeks, providing opportunity to discuss successes and challenges as participants implement the CAMS model. You must attend a minimum of 4 of these calls to receive the designation of CAMS-Trained.
(Training is provided by a generous contribution form SAMHSA, the $30.00 fee is to cover administrative cost, including but not limited to food & beverage)
Registration includes, beverages, lunch and CEU’s, if required. Refund requests will only be honored on or before May 19, 2023.
Training services will be performed by CAMS-Care for the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation.

Once again the Four County Suicide Prevention Coalition, in partnership with the Four County ADAMhs Board and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, will sponsor the 4th Annual International Survivor of Suicide Day for 2020. This free event was developed in order to give survivors of suicide loss the opportunity to connect with other survivors, in an environment that promotes sharing, community and healing. Past events have traditionally been held in-person at St. John’s Lutheran Church. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be held virtually! The day will include the sharing of stories of loss and hope by three local speakers, private breakout sessions to connect with other survivors and opportunities for attendees to receive information regarding local mental health resources. Past events have been well received by those in attendance.
While the event is free of charge, registration is required. Attendance is limited so register online today by logging onto:

The event is open to anyone whose life has been impacted by the loss of a loved one to suicide, as well as friends and family members who support them.
