LOSS Team
Dr. Edwin Shneidman’s concept of “postvention as prevention” has governed Dr. Frank Campbell’s work with suicide survivors since 1986. Dr. Campbell envisioned a “LOSS Team”, a team of trained survivors who would go to the scenes of suicides to disseminate information about resources and be the installation of hope for the newly bereaved. Our dedicated and compassionate volunteers serve Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams Counties. Find out more about LOSS Team here
Cookie Night!
The Four County LOSS Team recently had their Annual Cookie Night. Each year, members of the LOSS Team make dozens of cookies and prepare boxes for local law enforcement, coroners, and emergency responders, and then deliver them to personally thank them for the work they do. It is the partnerships with our local Coroners, Law Enforcement and First Responders that allows us to do the work we do. This year we had over 55 dozen cookies and treats donated.
